CIMMfest's Record Store Day Wrap-up Party celebrates the culture of independent record stores by enlisting The Gomers for a little Live Band Karaoke. The Gomers are a Madison, Wisconsin based comedy rock/experimental rock band. This group even has a holiday named after them. February 1st has been proclaimed as "Gomer Day" by the mayor of Madison. The Gomers take their name from the television series Gomer Pyle.

Assembled by Keyboardist Maxx McGathey in the fall of 2011, Gramps The Vamp arose from its sweaty house party roots to become a staple in the Chicago music scene, regularly playing prominent venues such as the Double Door, Martyrs, and Metro. The band has received several media distinctions including Best New Band 2013 in the Chicago Reader's Best Of Chicago, Deli Chicago’s band of the month in September 2014, and Deli’s Editor's Choice for Best Emerging Chicago Artist 2014.
